Rector Akman Attends Gaziantep University’s 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman attended Gaziantep University’s 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony, held at the Mavera Congress and Arts Centre with the participation of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş.
Hosted by Gaziantep University, the ceremony brought together members of the higher education community at the beginning of the new academic year. The programme once again highlighted the important responsibilities undertaken by universities in scientific research, high-quality education, and social development.
Rector Akman stated that strong communication and academic cooperation between universities make an important contribution to the development of higher education. He expressed his hope that the new academic year would be a productive period marked by stronger scientific output, the development of joint projects, and new opportunities for students.
Rector Akman thanked Gaziantep University Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Mesut Doğan and the University administration for their efforts in organising the programme.
