Rector Akman Visits Karataş Campus
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited Karataş Campus, where he met with our academics, administrative staff, and students.
During his visit to the classrooms, Rector Akman attended lectures and spoke with students. Listening to their views and expectations regarding university life, he emphasised the importance of developing themselves not only academically but also socially and professionally.
As part of the visit, Rector Akman also held a meeting with the heads of academic units and faculty members. The meeting included evaluations on education and training processes, academic activities, and the current situation of the units. Preparations for the new academic term were also discussed, and the views and suggestions of academics were heard.
Rector Akman stated that strong communication and a culture of collaboration among academic units are important for the development of the University. He added that they would continue to maintain direct communication with students and academics, assess educational environments on site, and carry out joint efforts aimed at further strengthening academic quality.
