Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Our University and Gaziantep University
A “Scientific Research Projects Cooperation Protocol” was signed between our University and Gaziantep University to promote joint scientific studies and bring together the academic expertise of both institutions through collaborative projects. The protocol was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman and Gaziantep University Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Mesut Doğan.
Under the protocol, academics from both universities are expected to carry out joint research and development (R&D) projects and produce academic outputs based on these studies. The protocol also covers university-industry cooperation and envisages the participation of academic staff from both institutions in supported projects. Projects to receive support will be determined through the joint evaluation of the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Units of the two universities.
Rector Akman stated that the scientific cooperation established with Gaziantep University would make significant contributions to the research capacity of both institutions. He emphasized that bringing academics from different disciplines together in joint projects would create a strong basis for new research and high-quality academic outputs. Noting that scientific partnerships developed among universities in the region strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience, Rector Akman expressed his hope that the protocol would be beneficial for both universities.
The protocol, which will remain in effect for three years, aims to further strengthen the existing academic relations between the two universities through joint R&D projects.
